Scramble Around Sulfer Springs

I didn't bag any peaks this week on the Wednesday localhike, but I had a great time wandering around near Sulfer Springs. We went on an extended off-trail scramble, guided by Uncle Brett, who appears to know these mountains like the back of his hand.

We followed a little stream up into the hinterlands, to a small camp, and then followed another stream back down out of the mountains. In both cases, we wandered on and off of trails continuously; I especially enjoy these hikes, because I think I can learn about trailfinding by watching it happen successfully.

All in all, a fun hike, even if we didn't bag a peak.
