Festival of Bourne -- Identity and Supremacy
I watched both The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy over the last few days, and thoroughly enjoyed them both. There were some gaping holes in the plots, but overall, they were wonderful spy flicks. They certainly beat all but the very early Bonds.
I found Bourne's attitude in Supremacy to be a little strange; I don't really think that he would have totally given up on the idea of killing or hurting people when necessary. I wonder what he was really like before his break. Could it be that he wasn't totally hard-bitten? I guess his fellow assassin, The Professor, from the first movie, hinted that he had some depths. Or maybe I just think Clive Owens is cool.
Beats me. Anyway, I'm anxious to read the book, which I understand is completely different. Hopefully it is even better; so often movies fail to best a book.
